Shipping, Return and Other Policies

Shipping

Leelaloom strives to ship your handwoven product 1-3 days after purchase, excluding weekends and public holidays.  We cannot guarantee shipping times as they may be subject to delays such as the shipping carrier, customs, weather conditions, holidays, or other natural events.

Leelaloom is not responsible for lost packages due to mistyped addresses.

International orders (all orders shipped to a location outside of Hong Kong) are considered final sale and once shipped they are not eligible for return or exchange.

We are currently shipping to selected countries only and not shipping to the U.S.A.

Cancellation/changes

Please email all cancellation/changes to hello@leelaloomhandwoven.com. We strive to process and ship orders as soon as possible after purchase. If we receive an email request for a change/cancellation within 24 hours after purchase, we will strive to make sure the order is changed/cancelled per the request.  If your order is processed before a cancellation request, we will be unable to cancel the order.  Thank you for your understanding.

Returns

We have a 7 day return policy (excluding international orders, which are not eligible for return or exchange), which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn/unused, with tags intact, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@leelaloomhandwoven.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a case number, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged on arrival 
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please note all of our fabrics are handwoven on a wooden loom. It is a slow process and we weave in small quantities. The handweaving process may result in natural bumps, floats, skip threads, thread ends and small knots occurring in the fabric. Do not worry. It is not a flaw. It is part of the beauty and uniqueness of handwoven textiles.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if your refund was approved or not. When approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to you.

Limited one-year warranty

Our wraps/slings come with a limited one-year manufacturing defect warranty. Our products are handmade and may have slight variations that do not affect their use or safety. Due to the nature of natural fibers and hand-woven products this warranty does not include normal wear and tear from use, fabric stains, fabric fading, dye transfer, scuffed or scratched rings, products that have not been cared for or washed properly, common slubs, nubs, or weaver's knots present in the weave of the fabric, snags or rips in the fabric from outside forces, or small differences in the measurement of the product. The warranty will also be void if the care instructions are not followed. 

We are not responsible for warranty coverage if the product has been altered in any way. The term “ altered” is defined as including, without limit, dyeing, painting, embroidery, removal of warning label, care tag, and fabric additions or removals made after purchase. We are also not responsible for warranty coverage for any item that has been purchased secondhand.

In the rare instance where you believe there is a manufacturing issue or flaw, we will work with you and may provide you with a comparable exchange depending on the outcome of the investigation. The flawed item must be returned to Leelaloom and processed by our team. Please contact us at hello@leelaoomhandwoven.com to discuss any issues you may have.

Liability

Leelaloom Limited (also know as Leelaloom Handwoven) is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or deaths that may occur during the use of our woven wraps or ring slings.  You must follow the instructions and information outlined in the Leelaloom instruction booklet that came with your wrap or sling and watch our tutorial videos on how to properly put your baby in the wrap/sling. You may also email us for more information at hello@leelaloomhandwoven.com before using your wrap/ring sling.   

The strength and integrity of the fabric is dependent on you following our care instructions outlined in the FAQs section on washing and ironing of your wrap/sling.  Care instructions can also be found printed in the booklet that was packaged with your wrap/sling. We are not responsible for any damage such as thread shifting, holes, damaged rings, or other fabric damages that may occur if you do not follow the washing instructions.

We are also not responsible for any pulls, broken threads, holes, damaged rings and other damages that may occur while you use the wrap/sling.  You may contact us with any questions on repairing such damages, however that does not mean we will guarantee to fix any such damages.

Additional Information

Leelaloom Handwoven reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product offerings without prior notice.

Leelaloom Handwoven has the right to cancel any order and refund the amount paid.
